About the role

Egypt Education Platform is hiring an enthusiastic and skilled Art Teacher for its Madinaty Language School (MLS) in New Cairo. The teacher delivers engaging art lessons, inspires creativity and helps students develop their artistic talents across various age groups. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate art lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and exploration.
• Assess and monitor student progress and give constructive feedback.
• Organize art exhibitions and displays showcasing student work.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into cross-curricular activities and projects.
• Manage art resources, ensuring the safe and responsible use of materials and equipment.
• Keep up with best practices in art education through continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Teaching experience in a school setting, ideally across multiple age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to safeguarding standards and student wellbeing.

Required skills

• Proficiency in various art techniques and media.
• Ability to manage classroom resources effectively.
