Asset Management Section Head

About the role

The Asset Management Section Head will lead the implementation and continuous optimisation of the IBM Maximo asset management system. This senior position ensures accurate asset data, effective maintenance strategies, and seamless integration with key enterprise functions while complying with ISO 55000 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, configure, test, migrate data, and support go‑live for IBM Maximo.
• Define and maintain asset hierarchies, classifications, attributes and lifecycle strategies.
• Integrate Maximo with procurement, finance, SCADA and other enterprise systems.
• Design workflows, automated alerts and escalation procedures to streamline asset processes.
• Manage data governance, KPI monitoring and reporting on asset performance and costs.
• Develop preventive, corrective and condition‑based maintenance strategies using Maximo’s PM module.
• Provide training, documentation and user support; act as primary contact for troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 55000 and promote a safety‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in end‑to‑end implementation of IBM Maximo.
• Strong experience collaborating with engineering, IT, operations and finance teams.
• Track record of continuous improvement in asset management practices.
• Ability to analyse asset performance data to drive preventive actions and risk mitigation.

Required skills

• IBM Maximo configuration, data migration and user acceptance testing.
• System integration with ERP, finance, procurement and SCADA platforms.
• Workflow design and automated alert setup.
• KPI reporting and asset data governance.
• Preventive and condition‑based maintenance planning (PM module).
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management standards.
