Assistant Manager Demand Planning

About the role

Talabat is looking for an Assistant Manager Demand Planning to lead the demand planning and replenishment function for Tmart stores and warehouses across Egypt. You will oversee a team of demand planners, manage high‑value inventory, and ensure seamless collaboration with commercial, operations, and 3PL partners.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the transition to a 3PL model, manage partner relations and embed Egypt best practices.
• Own demand planning and replenishment for all Tmart stores and distribution centres.
• Manage stock valued at AED 20 million and issue approximately 8,000 purchase orders weekly.
• Produce timely, accurate inventory analysis and purchase forecasts.
• Develop insights, initiatives and ageing‑stock optimisation to meet business‑plan availability targets.
• Provide solutions for stock issues in warehouses and stores and guide store supervisors.
• Collaborate proactively with commercial and operations teams to protect supply continuity.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of four demand planners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG demand planning and replenishment.
• Background in warehouse management or 3PL partner coordination.
• Strong data‑driven and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Tech‑savvy with the ability to work with multiple analytical tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, coordination and problem‑solving capabilities.
