Assistant Manager – Facility Management

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead facility operations across all warehouses and sites, ensuring high asset availability, cost control, vendor performance, scrap management, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all facility management activities including Electrical, Mechanical, MHE, Automation Systems, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Civil works.
• Ensure high availability of assets and critical systems through preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
• Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective action plans.
• Monitor spare parts consumption and optimize inventory levels.
• Oversee maintenance ticketing system, ensuring timely work‑order closure and KPI reporting (MTTR, MTBF, Closure Rate, Downtime).
• Manage scrap activities, documentation, and financial tracking to maximize recovery value.
• Review vendor invoices, maintain supplier relationships, and support procurement with technical evaluations.
• Conduct regular site audits, pest control inspections, and support facility improvement projects.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and coordinate with operations, security, and finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in Facility Management or Warehouse Operations.
• Strong experience in vendor management and cost control.
• Knowledge of CMMS or ticketing systems.
• Leadership and analytical abilities.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse environment is a plus.
