About the role
The Assistant Media Manager will support Unilever’s North Africa brands by developing and executing media strategies that balance brand building with performance marketing. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and external agencies to ensure campaigns are data‑driven, on‑time, and aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support the creation of media strategies that reflect brand objectives, consumer insights, and market priorities across North Africa.
- Contribute to full‑funnel media planning, ensuring an optimal mix of brand‑building and performance tactics.
- Translate global and regional media guidelines into strong local market plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing, dCommerce, CMI, Finance and other teams to align media activities with overall brand and category goals.
- Assist in annual, quarterly and campaign‑level media planning for offline and digital channels.
- Work with media agencies to build audience‑first, data‑driven media plans that maximise reach, relevance and ROI.
- Support budget planning, phasing and tracking to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- Ensure flawless execution of media campaigns, including setup, delivery, compliance and optimisation.
- Monitor campaign performance, extract insights and recommend optimisation opportunities.
- Document and share learnings to foster continuous improvement across markets.
Required profile
- Analytical mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate multiple internal teams and external agencies.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
