Associate Demand Planner

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Demand Planner to support the rapid growth of our tMart grocery store concept, which offers 30‑minute delivery across several Middle‑East markets. You will work closely with the demand planning lead to ensure product availability in stores and distribution centres.

Key responsibilities

• Create purchase orders based on demand forecasts and maintain timely replenishment for stores and the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid out‑of‑stock (OOS) or overstock (OVS) situations, adjusting ordering parameters as needed.
• Manage stock worth approximately KD 1.5 million and issue around 1,750 purchase orders weekly.
• Coordinate fresh‑product replenishment with suppliers and store supervisors.
• Prepare and analyse key reports such as availability, lost sales, stock cover and service level metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to expiry, overstock and slow‑moving items.
• Utilise internal tools (IM, PO Tool) and business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Looker) to generate data and support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with store supervisors and administrators to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Previous experience in FMCG demand planning or replenishment.
• Strong attention to detail and data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Comfort interacting with senior executives and managing multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Tech‑savvy with a solid grasp of Excel.
