Associate / Experienced Associate – AML Quality, Risk & Security

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Associate or Experienced Associate to join its Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) team within the Middle East Central Client Acceptance Team (MECCAT). You will support day‑to‑day AML activities, including client risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and regulatory updates, while working under senior guidance and taking ownership of assigned tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support MECCAT on daily AML‑related matters and provide consultative guidance.
• Prepare and submit AML risk assessment inputs and approvals using Deloitte’s client risk assessment tool (annual reviews for high‑risk clients and rolling reviews for others).
• Assist AML Subject Matter Specialists with the Global Risk Tool, gathering information and documenting outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of client AML risk assessments, escalating issues as needed.
• Track and help implement relevant AML laws and regulations, communicating updates across Deloitte Middle East jurisdictions.
• Provide technical and training support for the Risk Assessment Tool and KYC Client Outreach Tool (guidance, FAQs, walkthroughs).
• When authorized, support AML Officer responsibilities for specific Deloitte Middle East legal entities, including coordination and documentation.
