Bar Waiter / Waitress – Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

The Bar Waiter/Waitress will work at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury all‑inclusive resort on the Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh. The role involves serving food and beverages at designated bar stations, delivering prompt and courteous service, and contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly, following the service manual and daily specials.
• Explain menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods when requested.
• Welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting, using the guest’s name when possible.
• Listen actively to guest questions, concerns, and requests, responding positively and professionally.
• Promote additional services and inform guests about order alternatives.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and safeguard any personal belongings left by guests.
• Follow all departmental instructions, operational standards, and health‑safety guidelines.
• Attend orientation training, adhere to the weekly work schedule, and participate in bi‑annual performance assessments.
• Support environmental initiatives by minimizing paper use and conserving energy.

Required profile

• Friendly and attentive attitude with strong customer‑service focus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced bar environment.
• Good communication skills and willingness to use guests’ names when appropriate.
• Flexibility to work according to the schedule set by the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and environmental responsibility.
