Barista

About the role

Dawam Business Solutions is hiring a Barista in Greater Cairo. The Barista prepares and serves a variety of food and beverages, performs daily operational tasks according to the brand's standards, and ensures smooth, tidy service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages, and perform daily operational tasks following the brand's standards.
• Requisition product orders, set up products and equipment for service, and carry out opening and closing procedures.
• Keep the area orderly and tidy, and report any discrepancies in procedures, quality or standards to the manager.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and incidents positively to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Place orders for necessary items by coordinating with suppliers, following established guidelines.
• Carry out a weekly inventory of bar utensils, record wastage and breakage, and share findings with the manager.
• Monitor par and stock levels and keep accurate log sheets (fridge and chiller temperatures, vegetable sanitation, etc.).

Required profile

• High school degree.
• Zero to two years of experience in F&B operations or a similar role.
• Knowledge of specialty drink preparation is a plus.
