BIM Structural Team Leader - Ras el Hekma

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a BIM Structural Team Leader for the Ras el Hekma project. The role leads and coordinates the structural BIM team in developing, managing and delivering accurate structural BIM models and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements, BIM execution plans, structural design standards and delivery schedules, while working with architectural, MEP and other engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of structural BIM models for concrete and steel structures.
• Ensure models are accurate, coordinated and compliant with approved design drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Oversee the modeling of foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, structural framing and other structural elements.
• Review model development and ensure the required level of development (LOD) is achieved.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP and other discipline models to identify and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Ensure models are suitable for construction documentation and downstream project needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6-8 years of experience in structural BIM modeling and coordination, with relevant team leadership experience.
• Previous experience leading or supervising a structural BIM team is required or strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Strong practical experience with Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
• Multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans, LOD requirements, model quality control and information management.
• Construction documentation, shop drawings and structural detailing.
