B&P Service Advisor – Technical Customer Support

About the role

The B&P Service Advisor provides technical assistance to customers, handling orders, inquiries and complaints while leveraging deep product knowledge. The role bridges the gap between technical product applications and sales, ensuring customers receive optimal value from the solutions offered.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders, inquiries and complaints, using technical expertise to resolve issues.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with key customers and sales staff focused on technical applications.
• Interview customers using a multi‑level sales script to clarify requirements and capture detailed notes.
• Identify opportunities to cross‑sell additional products or services during service interactions.
• Lead periodic check‑ins with key accounts to ensure product/service value.
• Record and manage custom orders, handling ambiguous delivery expectations.
• Respond to issue escalations promptly and obtain managerial approvals when needed.
• Update CRM after each customer visit to support retention and business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• Relevant experience in technical product support or service sales.
• Demonstrated ability to follow complex sales scripts and document client requirements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory codes and company policies.
