Business Analyst - Retail

About the role

The Business Analyst – Retail will act as the bridge between business needs and digital solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders and technology hubs to ensure that systems and software support the company’s retail objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from retail stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Perform gap analysis to identify improvement opportunities and drive process enhancements.
• Ensure local solution designs align with global standards and validate them with business and technology teams.
• Partner with Hub, Regional, and Global D&T teams to design or enhance end‑to‑end business solutions.
• Develop business cases for innovation projects, including cost‑benefit and ROI analysis.
• Coordinate solution delivery dependencies across global and regional teams and external partners.
• Support vendor and budget management for locally developed solutions, ensuring compliance with security standards.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an international environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working with both local and global teams, preferably in retail.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
