Business Continuity Management Head

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is recruiting a Business Continuity Management Head for a leading digital bank partner. You will build the discipline that decides whether the bank survives its worst day: designing the BCM architecture, crisis command structure and recovery playbooks from scratch, so that when a disruption or cyber-attack occurs, the bank has a proven plan and leadership has clear guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the bank's BCM framework, policy manuals and disaster recovery strategies from scratch, aligned with ISO 22301 and CBE resilience circulars
• Lead enterprise-wide Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and risk assessments to define critical functions, dependencies, RTOs and RPOs
• Work with technology, infrastructure and engineering teams to validate DR plans, cloud redundancy models and multi-region failover capabilities
• Operationalize the Crisis Management Plan (CMP), including command structure and communication workflows
• Run BCM tabletop exercises, crisis simulations and failover tests across departments and outsourced partners
• Act as the primary BCM point of contact for internal audits, external reviews and CBE regulatory examinations

Required profile

• 10+ years of cumulative experience, including 4 to 5 years in a dedicated BCM, operational resilience or crisis management leadership role in banking, financial services or critical technology
• In-depth knowledge of CBE business continuity regulations and risk expectations for financial institutions
• Strong command of ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800-34; CBCP, MBCP, MBCI or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor certification strongly preferred
• A builder mindset, able to automate resilient processes from the ground up in a fast-paced digital bank
• Exceptional communication skills and composure under pressure, able to guide executives and cross-functional teams through crises
