Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role
ABB is seeking a Buyer to support its procurement activities in Egypt, ensuring materials are purchased according to technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms while aligning with corporate policies.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new suppliers in cooperation with the category team, Supplier Quality and Engineering Specialists.
- Negotiate agreements with main suppliers, renew price lists and terms, and adapt corporate contracts to local business needs.
- Analyze bids to determine optimal value and provide market information to bid and proposal teams.
- Track goods receipt, verify deliveries and ensure accurate invoice processing.
- Maintain the SAP Ariba platform according to defined procedures.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
- Degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Fluent in English and willing to work on‑site in 10th of Ramadan City.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP and Ariba platforms.
- Experience using Power BI and Microsoft Office applications.
