About the role
Avelabs, an Arrow Company, is looking for a senior/expert Model Based Development Engineer to design and implement automotive software models using MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
Key responsibilities
- Develop MATLAB/Simulink models for target automotive applications.
- Design and implement AUTOSAR Software Components (SWCs) within Simulink.
- Modify and migrate existing models for new applications.
- Optimize generated C code and ensure MISRA compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the System Engineering team.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field.
- Hands‑on experience with BLDC motors and control systems.
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging and communication skills.
Required skills
- MATLAB/Simulink for model‑based design.
- Python programming.
- AUTOSAR SWC development.
- Knowledge of ISO26262 and ASPICE standards.
- Experience optimizing C code and ensuring MISRA compliance.
