C++ Quality Assurance Lead (Remote Contract)

About the role

This contract position is a remote, hourly role focused on leading quality assurance for C++ AI training projects. You will ensure that generated C++ code meets strict quality, safety, and performance standards while guiding a distributed team of trainers and reviewers.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated C++ code and trainer outputs against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on correctness, compile‑time validity, runtime behavior, memory safety, performance, and readability.
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, onboarding materials, calibration tasks, and quality documentation.
• Identify issues such as undefined behavior, memory leaks, race conditions, inefficient algorithms, or non‑compilable code.
• Coordinate quality workflows using Discord, Google Sheets/Docs, trackers, dashboards, and GitHub.
• Support remote teams of trainers, reviewers, engineers, and QA specialists.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines and delivering clear technical feedback.
• 3+ years of professional C++ development, systems programming, performance engineering, or related QA/mentoring roles.
• Deep understanding of modern C++ standards, RAII, smart pointers, templates, STL, concurrency, exceptions, and build systems.
• Experience leading or supporting remote technical teams is strongly preferred.
