Camera Monitoring Shift Leader

About the role

Scrutiny Auditing Solutions is looking for an experienced Camera Monitoring Shift Leader to manage the day‑to‑day operations of its CCTV surveillance centre. You will supervise a team of operators, monitor live feeds, assess security threats, and coordinate emergency responses while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support CCTV operators, manage shift handovers and breaks, and foster a focused team environment.
• Oversee proactive monitoring of multiple CCTV screens, using PTZ cameras to track suspicious activity.
• Coordinate emergency responses and liaise with on‑site teams during incidents.
• Prepare detailed incident reports, daily shift logs, and evidence logs for management or legal use.
• Perform or delegate regular checks of surveillance equipment to maintain 100% operational readiness.
• Train new staff on surveillance protocols, software, and data‑protection compliance.

Required profile

• Strong background in security management, preferably with control‑room experience.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to motivate a team under pressure.
• Relevant degree or certification in security management is highly desirable.
• Ability to remain calm, make decisive decisions, and analyze footage for evidence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CCTV Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Experience operating PTZ (pan‑tilt‑zoom) cameras.
• Familiarity with camera switching software.
• Competence in standard computer applications for reporting and documentation.
