Capacity Building Coordinator – Aswan

About the role

The Capacity Building Coordinator will lead the assessment, design, implementation, and monitoring of capacity development initiatives for local NGOs and governmental health entities in Aswan. The role aims to strengthen skills, systems, and gender‑sensitive health services for refugees, migrants, and host communities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct partner selection and needs assessments in coordination with the Partnership Lead and Health Officer.
• Develop and update capacity‑strengthening plans for selected NGOs and government providers.
• Design and deliver capacity‑building interventions such as workshops, cross‑visits, and coaching sessions, both in‑person and virtually.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures and service guidelines for health interventions.
• Monitor training delivery to ensure alignment with objectives and outcomes.
• Facilitate networking and joint initiatives between NGOs and governmental entities.
• Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the effectiveness of capacity‑strengthening activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading capacity‑building projects in the health sector.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and internal programme teams.
• Strong understanding of inclusive and gender‑sensitive health service delivery.
• Willingness to travel within Aswan governorate and occasionally to Cairo.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills to develop assessments, plans, and M&E frameworks.
