Cashier – Hotel Finance & Accounting

About the role

Join the Sheraton family in Sharm El Sheikh as a Cashier, supporting the hotel's finance and accounting operations. You will ensure accurate cash handling, maintain financial records, and provide excellent service to guests and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper coding.
• Organise, collect, secure and maintain all cash and cash equivalents according to policies.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information.
• Audit house banks periodically and maintain petty‑cash and cashier banks.
• Collect and verify cash, prepare bank‑deposit paperwork and process deposits on schedule.
• Prepare tickets for banquet functions and operate hotel token machines.
• Provide cash to guests, conduct currency exchanges and document cash variances.
• Liaise with the armored‑car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal and regulatory audit processes and ensure SOP compliance.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality and uphold professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related cash‑handling or finance experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physical ability to lift, carry or move objects up to 15 lb.
