CERT Analyst Tier 2

About the role

Group-IB’s CERT team is expanding across the META region and seeks a motivated CERT Analyst Tier 2 to help fight cybercrime. You will work with cutting‑edge threat intelligence and proprietary tools to detect and mitigate phishing, fraud, trademark abuse and other online threats, protecting brands and organisations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor web resources, including social media, deep and dark web, for emerging security threats.
• Investigate and respond to phishing attacks, online fraud, illegal trademark use and copyright violations.
• Collaborate with website owners, hosting providers, domain registrars and regulatory authorities to takedown malicious content.
• Support clients in safeguarding their brands against online abuse and produce regular reports and service summaries.
• Research new scams and phishing techniques to enhance detection and prevention capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong passion for fighting cybercrime and willingness to work in a fast‑paced global environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, resourcefulness and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; German or French is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely with multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Experience or familiarity with Digital Risk Protection (DRP).
• Understanding of network and Internet protocols.
