Channel Sales Specialist – ENCA

About the role

ABB is hiring a Channel Sales Specialist for ENCA, within the Mining & Materials business line of the Process Industries division of its Automation Business Area in Egypt, North and Central Africa. The role reports to the Sales Manager and works in a hybrid setting. It focuses on implementing the channel sales strategy in the assigned market scope to improve market penetration and growth, while delivering profitable results on orders, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
• Create offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies.
• Report progress on channel strategies, plans and budgets.
• Analyse channel activity and take ownership of solving problems that arise.
• Contribute to growing the sales customer base for the assigned channel.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in commercial, sales and channel management in industrial automation.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics engineering, with a proven track record in channel management for automation and digital software.
• Fluent English and Arabic; French is a strong advantage.
• Experience in partner management, stakeholder influence, negotiation and building long-term partner ecosystems.

Required skills

• Knowledge of process control systems and digital applications in industrial environments.
• Understanding of market demand, customer budgeting and purchasing behaviour in industrial segments.
• Commercial terms, legal frameworks and risk mitigation in partner and customer agreements.
