Chief Accountant

About the role

Sky Healthy Food is seeking a Chief Accountant to lead its finance function in Egypt. This full‑time, on‑site position will oversee all accounting activities, ensure compliance with Egyptian standards, and support strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day general accounting, including ledger entries, posting, and monthly closing.
• Apply Egyptian general accounting standards and oversee fixed‑asset allocation and depreciation in the ERP system.
• Control accounts payable, process daily payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare trial balances, financial statements, and reports for the Finance Manager.
• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support treasury in cash‑flow projections and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, FMAA, or IFRS (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP MDS 365.
• Experience using ERP systems and accounting software.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal auditing, and internal controls.
• Understanding of tax compliance, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
