Chief Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Accountant to join a leading automotive retail company with multiple branches across Egypt. Based in New Cairo, this full‑time onsite role will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting activities, including general ledger management and month‑end close.
• Prepare and present financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Lead budget planning, financial analysis, and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8 to 14 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
• Proven experience with Odoo accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated team‑management and collaborative skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
