Civil Engineer – Construction & Community Development

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to lead the design, planning and execution of construction and community development projects for our non‑governmental organization. The role combines technical engineering expertise with a creative eye to deliver structures that are both safe and aesthetically aligned with our mission.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise construction projects from concept through completion.
• Review and assess project drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor on‑site progress, guaranteeing compliance with quality standards, safety regulations and timelines.
• Identify and resolve design or structural issues that arise during execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture/Interior Design.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in civil engineering, architecture or site supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
