Clinical Research & Patient Follow-up Assistant (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Clinical Research & Patient Follow‑up Assistant to join our refractive surgery team at An Eye Center in Cairo. The role supports postoperative patient monitoring, data management and research activities, offering a great entry point for individuals interested in healthcare and clinical research.

Key responsibilities

• Contact refractive surgery patients for routine postoperative follow‑up and record their feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Maintain and update patient databases and Excel spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Enter, verify, and manage patient information in clinical databases.
• Assist in gathering and organizing clinical data for research projects, audits and presentations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate follow‑up activities with physicians and administrative staff while ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Perform additional administrative and research‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience or recent graduate in a health‑related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.
