Cloud Engineer – OCI (L2)

About the role

The Cloud Engineer – OCI (L2) provides advanced technical support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments. Acting as the primary escalation point for Level 1 engineers, you will resolve complex issues while ensuring high service standards and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Handle escalated technical issues from L1 engineers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting for OCI services and architectures.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Mentor L1 engineers and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Identify patterns in customer issues and propose proactive solutions.
• Collaborate with OCI service teams on complex cases.
• Participate in customer Well‑Architected Reviews.

Required profile

• OCI Certified Architect Professional and one additional OCI certification.
• 2+ years of OCI experience in an MSP or vendor support role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell).
• Advanced Linux and Windows troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
