Commercial Specialist – Field Sales & Market Research

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Commercial Specialist to conduct field visits, gather market intelligence, and support our sales pipeline. You will interact directly with decision‑makers across retail, manufacturing, services, and hospitality sectors to understand their software needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structured field visits to target prospects and document operational pain points.
• Administer market research surveys to CFOs, IT Managers, and Operations Managers.
• Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and positioning within the ERP/B2B market.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of target companies and industry contacts.
• Qualify leads and assist senior commercial leadership with market summary reports, pitch decks, and data insights.
• Represent the company professionally during preliminary client engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in market research, field sales, or business development; software/IT/SaaS experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to approach decision‑makers in person and over the phone.
• Resourceful, initiative‑driven, and able to work independently in the field.
