Communications Expert – Donor Project (Egypt)

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Communications Expert to support a donor‑funded development project in Egypt. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will help implement the donor’s Communication Strategy and raise the visibility of its activities across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Support the donor in executing its communication strategy and achieving strategic communication objectives.
• Enhance the quality and reach of communication outputs, illustrating project impact and raising public awareness of donor‑Egypt partnerships.
• Develop and oversee a detailed work plan, including key activities, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Analyse existing communication plans, identify strengths and gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Design targeted campaigns for younger audiences and co‑create strategic communication approaches for major initiatives.
• Oversee the production of visibility content (videos, graphics, social‑media posts) tailored to diverse audiences and platforms.
• Support milestone reporting and maintain client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent experience) in media, communication, event management, international relations, marketing or advertising.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in media, communication, marketing or advertising, including at least 5 years managing communication campaigns and large public events.
• At least 3 years developing and disseminating visibility and communication products such as videos and social‑media content.
