Contract Engineer

About the role

Arabian Construction Company (ACC) is seeking a Contract Engineer to join its dynamic team at the Head Office in New Cairo and the North Coast project site. The role will focus on managing and administering contractual agreements across large‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and finalize contracts, sub‑contracts, purchase agreements and amendments, ensuring compliance with project objectives, company policies and legal frameworks.
• Monitor contract milestones, deliverables and timelines, and manage claims, variations and extensions of time, including preparation and negotiation of client submissions.
• Assess contract terms to identify risks, advise on preventive measures and ensure implementation of FIDIC and other relevant contractual frameworks.
• Serve as primary contact for contract‑related matters, coordinating with project managers, procurement, and legal teams.
• Maintain detailed contract records, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, and conduct periodic audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract administration for large‑scale construction projects.
• Proven experience with FIDIC contracts, claims management and contract variations.
• MRICS or CIARB qualification is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
