Control Room Officer

About the role

MMB For Logistics Services is seeking a Control Room Officer to oversee daily transportation operations for an international logistics network. The role involves real‑time monitoring of vehicle movements, handling incidents, and ensuring smooth communication with a multicultural driver workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track trips, routes, and vehicle status using the transportation management system.
• Follow up on delays, route deviations, breakdowns and other operational issues.
• Communicate directly with drivers of various nationalities, providing operational support and guidance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Escalate critical incidents and maintain accurate operational records.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Professional communication skills with drivers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple situations simultaneously, and work rotational shifts.
• Previous experience in transportation, fleet management, logistics or related fields is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management System (TMS) or similar monitoring tools.
• Strong computer literacy.
