About the role

The Coordinator of Workforce Operations & Lifelong Learning supports LSU Alexandria Continuing Education by managing the university’s One‑Stop Operator (OSO) responsibilities and overseeing community Lifelong Learning programs. This role handles program scheduling, participant and instructor communication, documentation, registration support, and day‑to‑day coordination of assigned programs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily One‑Stop Operator activities, maintain required documentation, meeting records, and reports.
• Communicate with workforce partners, assist with partner meetings, and track deadlines and deliverables.
• Support the Workforce Development Manager with system activities and events.
• Plan and schedule fall, spring, and summer Lifelong Learning courses, recruit instructors, and manage course logistics.
• Handle participant communication, registration support, and collect enrollment feedback.
• Identify new community enrichment course ideas and promote programs.
• Provide excellent customer service to participants, instructors, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate program records and assist with special projects and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Interpersonal skills for working with diverse community partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn university systems.
