Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our organization’s security posture. The role involves designing, implementing and managing security controls across network and application environments while supporting secure digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cyber risk assessments and design appropriate security controls.
• Configure, monitor and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs and secure network architectures.
• Perform application security activities including secure coding guidance, code reviews and vulnerability scanning for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and governance aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Monitor security events using SIEM and EDR tools, manage log data, and lead incident response and threat remediation efforts.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity with hands‑on experience in risk assessment and control implementation.
• Knowledge of NCA requirements and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, Security+) are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts clearly.
