About the role
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our enterprise applications, infrastructure and cloud environments. The role involves implementing security controls, identifying vulnerabilities and responding to incidents while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain security controls across applications, infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, security scans and coordinate penetration testing.
- Secure CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated security scanning tools.
- Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) and authentication solutions.
- Configure and manage Web Application Firewalls and cloud‑native security services.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, infrastructure and compliance teams to embed secure‑by‑design practices.
- Develop security documentation, policies, standards and incident response procedures.
- Support compliance initiatives and security audits.
Required profile
- 3–11+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure SDLC and threat modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux, networking, TCP/IP, DNS and HTTPS.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
Required skills
- Vulnerability and container image scanning tools: Trivy, Grype, Snyk, Prisma Cloud.
- Secrets detection tools: Gitleaks, GitGuardian, TruffleHog.
- Application security testing tools: Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nessus, Acunetix.
- Web Application Firewalls: AWS WAF, Azure WAF, Google Cloud Armor, Cloudflare WAF.
- IAM solutions: Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Ping Identity, Auth0, Keycloak.
- SIEM platforms: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, Elastic Security.
- Container and orchestration security: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
- Automation and scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, SOC 2.
- Endpoint protection: Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne.
- Relevant certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC, CISSP, CCSP.
