Data Analyst (Remote, Egypt)

About the role

Cisco Networking Academy is seeking a Data Analyst to support data‑driven decision‑making across its global learning platform. This fully remote position is based in Egypt and works closely with US‑based teams to deliver actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret business data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Support data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance across multiple datasets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather reporting requirements and align with business objectives.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports for operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Document dashboards, reports, and data workflows.
• Utilise HTML for reporting customisation and data presentation when needed.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in data analytics or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a remote, team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualisation.
• SQL for complex queries and relational database interaction.
• HTML knowledge for reporting customisation.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation.
