Data Center Transformation & Business Resiliency Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Data Center Transformation & Business Resiliency Consultant to join Capgemini’s global team. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through modernisation of data centre environments, strengthening cyber and disaster‑recovery capabilities, and building AI‑ready, resilient infrastructure platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data‑centre modernisation, consolidation, migration and infrastructure transformation programmes.
• Define and implement Disaster Recovery, Cyber Recovery, Business Continuity and Operational Resilience strategies.
• Develop target‑state architectures, transformation roadmaps and migration plans aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments, workload analysis, dependency mapping and technology rationalisation.
• Design resilient enterprise architectures covering compute, storage, networking, virtualization, data protection and recovery solutions.
• Assess and enable AI‑ready infrastructure platforms for analytics, machine learning and modern data workloads.
• Facilitate customer workshops, architecture reviews, resilience assessments and executive presentations.
• Support business development through solutioning, proposals, Statements of Work and value‑based transformation roadmaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, data‑centre transformation, consulting or technology advisory.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven expertise in data‑centre strategy, migration, consolidation and modernisation programmes.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing Disaster Recovery, High Availability, Business Continuity, Cyber Recovery and Operational Resilience solutions.
