Decision Support Business Planning Lead

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a Decision Support Business Planning Lead to drive accurate financial reporting and strategic analysis for its commercial operations. You will partner with commercial teams to deliver insightful reports, manage budgeting cycles, and support new product and tariff initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly closure processes and margin meetings, explaining variances to senior management.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with commercial plans.
• Develop and finalize business cases for new tariffs, propositions, and bidding opportunities.
• Prepare weekly outlooks and post‑assessment reports to monitor budget performance.
• Analyse product profitability down to EBIT and oversee solutions revenue, cost, and margin reporting.
• Coordinate all communications required to achieve functional objectives.
• Identify and address end‑to‑end process gaps, delivering actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, preferably within a telecom or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
