About the role
FoulGuardAI is seeking a Deep Learning Specialist to design, train, and optimise neural network models that detect fouling patterns in industrial water‑system sensor data. The role is fully remote and full‑time, supporting both cloud‑based and high‑security offline deployments.
Key responsibilities
- Process and analyse large volumes of time‑series sensor data from desalination, municipal water, and related industries.
- Design, implement and fine‑tune deep learning architectures using TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Build and maintain end‑to‑end machine‑learning pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Collaborate with data scientists, chemical engineers and product teams to improve predictive analytics.
- Optimise models for real‑time inference in both cloud and offline environments.
- Stay current with state‑of‑the‑art deep learning research and integrate relevant advances.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Proven experience developing deep learning models for large‑scale data, preferably time‑series.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data‑processing libraries.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary remote teams.
- Knowledge of water‑system processes and fouling detection is a plus.
