Development Manager – Hotel Portfolio Expansion (MEA)

About the role

The Development Manager will lead the expansion of Accor’s managed and franchised hotel portfolio across the Middle East and Africa, with a primary focus on the Egyptian market. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and finalising development projects for all Accor brands, covering new builds, conversions and mixed‑use projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new hotel development opportunities in Egypt and the wider MEA region.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, investors and key clients to understand their commercial objectives and branding needs.
• Prepare and deliver pitches, conduct market analysis, feasibility studies and financial modelling.
• Negotiate contracts, oversee the deal‑making process and ensure alignment with internal departments.
• Represent Accor at local and international seminars, exhibitions and events.
• Validate monthly reports for global roll‑up and generate leads for Premium, Mid‑scale and Economy segments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Real Estate, Finance or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality development.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Strong stakeholder‑engagement abilities and knowledge of hotel operations, accounting and branded residences.
