DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Monitoring

About the role

Valeo is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its GISACC digital transformation centre in Cairo. You will be responsible for building, deploying and monitoring CI/CD pipelines that support multiple software projects across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Jenkins‑based CI/CD pipelines for various development teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Docker, Ansible or similar tools.
• Implement and operate monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track pipeline health in real time.
• Debug and resolve CI failures, proactively detecting issues before they impact production.
• Collaborate with IT and Cyber Security teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.
• Provide training and guidance to development teams on CI/CD best practices.
• Report defined KPIs to assess platform health and service levels.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD or related roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; additional German or French is a plus.

Required skills

• Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, GCC, Nexus.
• Windows and Linux system administration.
• Docker and Ansible (preferred).
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Scripting languages – Python, Shell, Perl.
• Basic knowledge of AWS services (optional).
