Director of Educational Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is looking for a senior leader to shape and execute its evidence‑based academic strategy worldwide. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the executive team, driving measurable learning gains across partner schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement academic structures that translate learning‑science research into curriculum, student motivation frameworks, and application development.
• Lead performance sessions with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability and consistent results across multiple school teams.
• Conduct data analysis, interviews and observations to produce ecosystem assessments, identify high‑impact obstacles and recommend targeted solutions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms and milestone management focused on student achievement targets.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile settings, including keynote presentations and meetings with national education ministries, to promote systemic transformation.

Required profile

• Proven track record of creating and scaling academic strategies that deliver measurable learning outcomes.
• Hands‑on leadership experience directing high‑performing teams in education or related sectors.
• Strong public‑facing communication skills with experience presenting to policymakers and large audiences.
• Ability to translate scientific principles into operational rigor and monitor execution.
