Robotics Instructor – FLL Challenge Mentor

About the role

STEMers is seeking an experienced First LEGO League (FLL) Challenge Instructor to mentor students in Tanta, Egypt. The role involves guiding learners through the complete robotics development process, from design to competition preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Train and mentor students for the FLL Challenge.
• Guide students through robot design, building, programming, and testing.
• Support students in developing and improving their competition solutions.
• Prepare students for competition challenges and foster teamwork and problem‑solving skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide technical guidance throughout the season.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on experience participating in or coaching FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge.
• Strong knowledge of LEGO Mindstorms EV3 and good knowledge of Arduino and robotics fundamentals.
• Ability to build, program, test, and troubleshoot robotic solutions.
• Experience working with children and teenagers in a STEM/robotics learning environment.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and problem‑solving skills, with a passion for robotics and STEM education.
