Director of Educational Strategy (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its academic strategy worldwide. As Director of Educational Strategy, you will translate learning science into actionable frameworks, drive consistent implementation across schools, and serve as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning science into curriculum guidance, motivational architecture, and application design.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and delivery of results.
• Integrate data, interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments, identifying obstacles and recommending concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic alignment through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at high‑profile events, including keynotes and engagements with Ministries of Education, to promote systemic transformation.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership, managing teams and driving measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record of converting scientific research into operational rigor and public advocacy.
• Strong ability to assess and improve execution across diverse school environments.
