Director of Hotel Development – Hospitality Division

About the role

The Director of Hotel Development leads the growth of the company’s hospitality portfolio through acquisitions, partnerships and development projects, primarily using a third‑party management model. Reporting to the CEO, the role focuses on expanding presence in Egypt and selected international markets while maximising asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a targeted growth strategy for hotel assets across hybrid management, leasehold and freehold structures.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate acquisition, development and partnership opportunities.
• Lead financial modelling, feasibility studies and business case preparation.
• Build and maintain relationships with local developers, hotel owners and institutional investors.
• Oversee due‑diligence, transaction timelines and internal approvals.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure new assets meet ROI and performance targets.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and liaise with government and military entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10‑15 years of experience in hotel investment, acquisitions or business development.
• Proven track record in hotel brand development or consultancy.
• Extensive network within hotel operators, investors and developers.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
