Director of Restaurants

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza is looking for a Director of Restaurants, a restaurant leader who takes ownership of a diverse portfolio of dining concepts. The role ensures every outlet delivers outstanding service, strong financial results and an experience reflecting the highest luxury hospitality standards. The Director leads and mentors restaurant management teams, drives operational excellence and shapes the guest journey across all restaurant venues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor restaurant management teams and maintain high standards of service, people development and financial results across all outlets.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, forecasting, purchasing and inventory controls, and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
• Work closely with culinary leadership to develop concepts, menus and service standards suited to a world-class luxury destination.
• Apply Forbes Travel Guide and LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) standards and champion luxury service excellence across all venues.
• Be present on the floor, connecting with guests and employees to elevate the dining experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of three years of experience leading multiple restaurant outlets in a luxury hotel or high-end standalone restaurant setting.
• Proven track record in luxury hospitality, with hands-on leadership of diverse dining concepts and management teams.
• Able to balance exceptional guest experiences with strong commercial performance.
• Flexible and willing to work a varied schedule based on business demands.

Required skills

• Strong understanding and practical application of Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, labor costs, forecasting, purchasing and inventory controls.
