Director of Revenue

About the role

As Director of Revenue you will be responsible for maximising hotel revenue, profit and market share by developing and implementing effective inventory and pricing strategies. You will work closely with the sales, marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment with the hotel’s overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and business planning process for rooms, producing accurate 12‑month revenue forecasts and 90‑day segment forecasts.
• Monitor market conditions, analyse performance data and prepare month‑end commentary covering segmentation, country statistics, room‑type optimisation and channel performance.
• Set and deploy pricing strategies, rate structures and demand calendars across all distribution channels, ensuring rate integrity for the next 365 days.
• Manage inventory, oversell strategies and group displacement analysis to optimise revenue and profit.
• Provide regular revenue management updates to the Executive Committee and lead weekly revenue meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum of high school qualification; professional certification such as a Bachelor’s degree or Hotel School Diploma is preferred.
• At least 2 years of revenue management experience with a proven record of increasing revenue streams.
• Excellent verbal and written English; local language proficiency is required, additional languages are a plus.
