Director of Security

About the role

The Director of Security will lead REEDY’s security function across its diverse portfolio of cosmetics, food, wood paints and land development businesses. Based in Cairo, this senior position is responsible for protecting people, assets and information through comprehensive physical, cyber and network security strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, standards and procedures for physical, information and network security.
• Conduct security risk assessments and oversee incident response and crisis management.
• Supervise internal security teams and external vendors, ensuring effective monitoring and control of security systems.
• Coordinate investigations of security breaches or threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Report regularly to senior leadership on security posture and drive continuous improvement.
• Design and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in a security role within a multi‑industry organization.
• Strong background in cybersecurity, information security and network security.
• Extensive experience in physical security and security management across multiple sites.
• Demonstrated ability to perform risk assessments, incident management and crisis response.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree (e.g., Information Security, Computer Science, Criminal Justice) and certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred.
