EHS Manager – WON Line (Cairo)

About the role

Alstom Grid is looking for a full‑time EHS Manager for its WON Line site in Cairo. You will lead the implementation of Alstom’s environmental, health and safety policies, drive continuous improvement, and foster a proactive safety culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Support site management in achieving EHS performance goals.
• Implement EHS policies and plans aligned with Alstom’s global and regional strategies.
• Advise, coach and support operational management on EHS initiatives.
• Ensure EHS risk assessments are performed and mitigation measures are applied.
• Prepare, implement and maintain site‑level emergency plans.
• Monitor and manage EHS compliance for subcontractor activities.
• Lead the site EHS function, including coaching and developing EHS team members.
• Develop and maintain the site EHS management system in line with Alstom standards.
• Facilitate EHS training and communication to raise awareness.
• Report and analyse accidents, incidents and EHS performance metrics.
• Conduct internal EHS audits and inspections for compliance and improvement.
