EHS & Quality Specialist

About the role

The EHS & Quality Specialist ensures that manufacturing operations meet the highest quality standards, comply with regulatory and GE Vernova EHS requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will act as a bridge between quality, safety, suppliers, and customers, driving a strong safety culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plan.
• Implement the Quality Management System, including inspections, calibrations, procedures, and instructions.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineers and sourcing teams to resolve vendor‑related quality issues.
• Issue non‑conformities, track corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
• Lead pre‑inspection meetings and support customers during on‑site witness inspections.
• Oversee internal processes such as NCRs, internal audits, and performance metrics.
• Design and run site programs that promote employee engagement and a strong EHS culture.
• Ensure compliance with GE Vernova EHS policies, legal regulations, and waste‑management standards.
• Support the Cluster Leader in implementing the GE Vernova EHS framework.
• Conduct accident investigations, audits, and provide HSE training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Electronics).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control or EHS.
• Knowledge of quality and EHS management systems and problem‑solving methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English, Arabic and French.
• Willingness to travel up to 50 % across North Africa.
