Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

The Electrical Design Engineer – Low Voltage will prepare and support engineering designs, drawings, and material documentation for assigned projects. The role involves close coordination with production, planning and procurement teams to ensure timely, accurate and technically compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain job files, review contractual documents and customer specifications, and identify technical requirements.
• Develop and update engineering drawings using approved design software, ensuring compliance with standards, symbols and formats.
• Coordinate with CAD operators to produce panel layouts, one‑line diagrams, civil guides and schematic drawings.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs), support material issuance and verify technical compliance of material selections.
• Release approved drawings to production, provide technical clarification during manufacturing and assembly, and update documentation for as‑built changes.
• Follow safety procedures, engineering standards and company policies to ensure quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical design, engineering design and safety design.
• Proficiency in using design tools and CAD software.
