Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading multinational manufacturer of home and personal care products in 6th of October, Egypt. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of electrical equipment within a fast‑paced FMCG/pharmaceutical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) plans.
• Manage spare parts inventory and control stock levels.
• Maintain, repair, and calibrate all electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Reduce equipment downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Develop department SOPs and prepare IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation for equipment.
• Lead and evaluate three‑shift maintenance technicians, including performance reviews and training needs.
• Report breakdowns, perform root‑cause analysis, and contribute to KPI setting.
• Drive Kaizen initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Oversee software, automation, and new project implementation for production equipment.
• Participate in budgeting, resource planning, and project change‑control processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within FMCG or pharmaceutical (liquids or cosmetics) environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with PLCs and classic control systems.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Control systems knowledge.
